Rent our cabin - starting up 01.06.23
CLOSE TO NATURE, JUST FOR TWO! We are now busy with fixing the cabin situated in the mountains (950 m above sea level), 60 km north of the city of Lillehammer, in the community Ringebu. From the cabin you have directly acces to nature with its peaks, forests, mountains over the tree line, lakes and rivers. Activities: biking, hiking, fishing, photographing, moose safari with us as the guide, starshine, aurora borealis, and enjoying nature without disturbing noice.
The cottage is heated by electric heaters. But there are no toilets or showers. There is no running water in the cottage.
However, for this purpose you can use the toilet and shower in our renewed barn. Here you will find also a small kitchen with al neccesary equipment like a fridge with freezer and cooking equipment, cups, plates, pans etc. It is also possible to use the kitchen as a small diningroom.
Last but not least we have a small sauna for maximum 4 persons. The use of it is not includet in the prices. Please ask the price if you want to use it!
If you love peace and nature, then you've come to the right place. We are a Norwegian / Dutch couple. On our farm, we work with ecological berry cultivation. Jam and delicious juices are always available. Nearby our location there are a lot of things to see and do. There is Aulestad, Lillehammer with cozy small shops. And there is “Maihaugen” the open-air museum in Lillehammer. For hiking and biking you've come to the right place, our mountainbikes can be rented.
We sometimes see elk on our grounds (6hect.) So with a little bit of luck you can take pictures. The “wild” can be pretty nearby!
