Oyerfjellet is internationally known for its flora and fauna, for birdwatchers there are the Hen Harrier, Broad-billed Sandpiper and Snipe. . Bears, Wolves and the mysterious Wolverine regularly roam through the area, but it is only the Lynx and Moose that live here permanently.
