The Discover Nature Norway team consists of passionate nature lovers with many years of experience working both in Norway’s stunning national parks and also with focus on nature protection close to the parks.

Our adventures take place just 30 to 60 minutes north of Lillehammer, in the breathtaking Gudbrandsdalen valley. You’ll explore pristine forests, wild streams, tranquil lakes, and mountain landscapes ranging from 700 to 1000 meters above sea level, with peaks rising up to 1500 meters.

The area is internationally renowned for its rich flora and fauna. Birdwatchers may spot rare species like the Hen Harrier, Broad-billed Sandpiper, and Snipe. While bears, wolves, and the elusive wolverine occasionally roam here, it’s the lynx and moose that call this land home year-round.
